A talk your people will remember.
I tell real stories: my family rebuilding from bankruptcy, a student who passed his black belt test on the eighth try. Most importantly, your audience walks away with one idea they can hold onto: you're not losing, you're learning.
Shaped to your event, from leadership offsites to graduation stages.

What does the talk cover?
The signature keynote follows the book. I talk about why "failure" is the wrong word for almost everything we use it for, and about the three words that should replace it: perseverance, resilience, and grit. I show how each one is trained like a muscle, and I walk your audience through the Cycle of Learning so people leave with something to do next.
After fifteen years of teaching, I know how to read a room. I've taught rooms full of teenagers, and that's the hardest audience there is.
